chris... i am ordering the head gasket, clutch/flywheel, and the extra bolt i need for the k20a2 water pump this week. ill give you a call soon! plus i have some flinstones for you lol

alright... finally!!!!
an update. small update but an update none-the-less. with florida weather being shit lately, my funds being short, and my schedule being packed its been tough.

so i have been doing some sanding in the bay.












this is just the first coat of filler. the filler is very thin and i still have a bit of sanding to do before the next coat. i figure about 3 or 4 coats total before final sanding. then it will be ready for paint. good thing is that my mugen bumper should be here by then as well so that can be painted as well. more parts will be ordered soon once i balance my funds...

finished sanding the first coat today. should apply the second tomorrow.

second coat of filler sanded. one more fill coat and then a final skim coat and it will be ready for seam sealer.

this is probably the thickest area of filler. in the far corner near the core support it is built up to about a 1/8th inch.








there are a couple low spots and a couple high spots that will be fixed with the next coat. the firewall is one step behind the shock towers and core support. i grinded to far at one point so i have to have it re-welded before i put the filler on it on the firewall. hopefully my buddy greg will be over with the mig soon.

i will be applying the 3rd coat to everything tonight after work.
a few goodies have been ordered.
