Exclamation bov automatic

can we put a BOV on my friends automatic volvo s40?

if so how would it be connected???

i know its weird but im tying to help him out

yes you can put it on the car. The fact that its automatic really has no bearing on it except that it wont blow off between gears since you never let off the gas in an automatic. You would hook it up normal or just as the instrustions say.

If you want something to replace the factory diverter/bypass valve but is of much higher quality, look at the Forge 007 valves. They are dimensionally pretty close to the factory bosch valves, but no diaphragm to blow out and tunable for higher boost.

that is true, usually mafs cars will need the bov to be recirculated back into the intake tract. But you can still run a regular blow off valve and just recirculate it if it gives you problems.
