i was reading that you overlap 1/4"...how are you guys going to do it?

Got done wrapping my manifold today, looks so nice in black (kinda gives it a carbon fiber look)
I used a total of 30 ft. for the mani, and plan on using the other 20ft. for the dp when i do it next week.

Did you guys put yours on yet? I'll put some pics up when i get a chance.

when you do it, make sure you wear long sleeves and good thick gloves. I got a nasty rash from the fibers coming off. They sorta stuck in my skin . The black looks so good though, you'll love it.

 

How far down that 4" pipe did you get wrapped there FadedSTi? I have 4" exhaust as well and i would like to wrap my downpipe and such and i need to get about 3 ft or piping wrapped!

It all depends on how you wrap it. They say 1/4" overlay, but I ended up doing like 3/4" overlay. I ended up using alot on the manifold because i wrapped it so close.
