Oh yeah, so if I run 2.5" cold pipe will the temperatures be too hot and the plastic MAF be too weak to mount it into cold pipe?
Thanks again.

on freshalloy, my friend brian (he runs www.ka24development.com) originally used a hacked maf with a ~2.75" ID pipe on his non-intercooled setup and ran 4psi on a blow-through setup. he probably used almost a whole roll of electrical tape and i think some jbweld or silicone, but it worked. after he got his FMIC kit, he went to a draw through setup because we doubted it would hold more than 4 psi for very long. he has since redesigned it and it has a different pipe with shims to adjust the diameter (you can put a shim in and reduce the diameter thus making it richer).

i am buying his setup since he is on 50lb/cobra maf/jwt ecu, so ill get some pics once i get it.
