sup guys I managed to run across a cutom turbo setup for my car the person is askin like 380-350 for it....here is what it comes with
Mitsu 14b turbo(no shaft play like new), Sidemount Intercooler, new boost gauge,pipe bends and a hf/cx manifold.

there are a few thing i have to get like a adapter plate and some kind of fmu setup but other than that does it look good

also the person side that he could get me a sterion FMI for 150(never seen on before please post pics if you got one.) is that a good price for one please give me imput on what you think.

oh and it come with dsm injectors and no bov(<===recommend one) thanx .

 

sounds like a whole lot of low end and mid range power but on lets say 8psi youll probably only get 50 more hp than stock because that turbo is tiny. cant complain for 400bucks tho

 

to be honest i really dont care about making huge horsepower its not important to me i just want to make this my very frist turbo project a kinda learning xperiance.....50hp would be great for my little single cam.....what do you think i would make if I went up to 10psi( with proper upgrades of course)

 

i think its off of a frist gen eclipse(could be wromg) yeah its a small turbo but like i said for my frist project car i think it would be perfect........

the only thing i'm worried about is that it has a internal wastegate from what i heard thats bad because of "boost spiking " can someone shed a little light on the matter for me.

o and where can i get a frist gen dsm bov
and i aslo need a adapter plate for the turbo.

would any of these be a good buy if decide not to get the sterion intercooler.

 

you will only have problems with the boost spiking if the wastegate's not working correctly.

The 14b is a strong little turbo. I would have to say it would be perfect for a basic Honda application. The 14b comes stock on 89-94 dsm, along with the bov you are looking for.

 

can anyone tell me if i can still keep my ac with this setup?
