TurboXS RFL is loudest

Beef up the bottom end...and consider headstuds from ARP...or you will be watching your heads float like fairies.

a BOV has a flange. just weld an identical flange to your intake piping..any bov fits any application. it also has a line that runs to the intake manifold that lets out air while there is vacuum in the intake manifold. (your still pumping exhaust gas out, so the turbo is still spooling, it needs somewhere to go since the throttle blade is pretty much shut) and in an automatic, yes, itll only blow off when you let off the pedal and the throttle blade shuts.

some people will run dual BOV's if they are flowing alot of air, and 1 BOV isnt adequate to vent the excess air out.

PS...no they dont sound diff on a v8 or i4, they sound different in reference to how much air the turbos are pushing

doesn't the bov valve go off when the throttle plate close? if you have an auto tranny car you can just floor it and the turbo will keep producing more power

itll go "off" when the intake manifold vacuum holds it open, when the spring can no longer hold the boost levels seen inside the intake piping, and when the throttle plate is closed and there is a immediate building of intake piping pressure.

Are you venting to atmosphere or bypassing back after the VAM? I've been reading atmosphere venting will cause our cars to stall.

atmosphere venting will cause a car to stall if the air it is blowing off has already been counted by the MAF because the computer has already accounted for it, added the required fuel, then it kinda just disappears, so your left with a very rich state and possible stall or sputtering

What everyone else said. I have seen the TurboXS RFL. The quality didn't look too good. Anyone who has used and/or seen the blowoff valve might agree with me. I like TiAL blowoff valves. I have heard a couple on Honda's and one in an SR20DET (Vapor's). They both made different sounds. I describe Vapor's as "Satan in his engine bay" and the TiAL in the Honda as "a quite blowoff valve". Here is my old TiAL blowoff valve. It's in Taylor Durdan's possesion now.
