another MC question

ok i removed the T fitting and attacthed a hose running from the turbo into the MBC and then from MBC back to accuator, i now hit the same boost but i lose some when i run through the gears, did i put it in backwards , i dont know what it is?

Nope, its because you don't have the T in it. Basically if you just have the MBC inline between the intake (boost source) and the wastegate, you have just effectively slowed down your boost response. You need to trick the wastegate into thinking the motor is only at 7psi, even if its at 15psi. The ONLY way to do that is to vent some of the boost to the atmoshere so the wastegate doesn't see it. Think of it this way. If you used a 1" diameter hose for your boost line, you'll get the same boost as using a 1/4" boost line. If you just put the MBC inline, all you are doing is restricting the opening at that point, but eventually, pressure will equalize and you will maintain stock boost.
