As silly as this sounds, I love the compressor surge sound more so then any BEE OH VEE ever. If I could have a BOV sound like that I'd be in heaven.
As long as you don't have a long distance for the air path to travel you don't need a BE OH VEE anyway.
My Z didn't have one for 20 years...

huh?...with shorter piping, a bov would be more necessary than it would with a longer pipe route cause the air still being compressed has less room to disperse and would cause a harder surge on the compressor...but 7 psi or under, the results are too adverse if you dont have a bov, although i recommend any non diesel turbocharged car use a bov, or at least a bypass valve (for those who keep it quiet)

Yeah it is defently fun. I love the by-pass valve set up since no one hears it. Makes for the car to be a real sleeper!
