Try to move in a bit, get the guardrails out, and get the car in the bottom half of the frame. Also, these cars are moving very fast, so slow your shutter down a bit more for a better sense of speed, not just motion!

Turn 2 approaching 3...


Turn 1...


if you are taking a wide shot, a slow shutter really enhances the sense of speed...


Also, get creative and detailed to try and relay the racing/track atmosphere...

I've been working a lot more and shooting a lot less! I actually frequent the TR photog forum quite a bit, but (IMO) the content just isnt what it once was so I don't really post anymore.

I think there was a CRX there. Some cars were only registered for one of the two days.

ERG those are some awesome shots. I was as close as I could be for mine and zoomed in all the way. I'm sure your glass is a lot better than the one I was using. Thanks for the tips BTW
