This was an idea on another forum, and ended up fizzling out, but I think it could be a lot of fun. I'm going to be in town visiting friends and family August 8th to the 13th. I'd like to actually meet some of you guys for once and I figure this could be a fun way.

Basically decide to meet somewhere, (Channelside, DT, anywhere) and start on a walk and take pictures of whatever we find interesting. The only rule is it has to be a prime and prime lens only on your camera.

Anyone down to do set a date between those days and do it?

Obviously I'm available that whole week whenever, but I just want to know are you guys free in the evenings, or is the day better? Mid week or near the end?

 

Evenings are typically better for most people during the week because of work. I get back from vacation on the 8th so that day is likely out for me.

 

i think i'm back from Tally that week too... i'd love to meet up with you guys.

I'm in! I got a prime lens so this sounds like fun! During the week late afternoon into the evening is best. On the weekend... whenever is cool with me.

 

Sounds like a plan. I have schools Wednesday afternoons so other then that, I'm open....right now lol

 

hmm well if I do go I'll be manually metering and focusing all night but that might not be a bad thing to get better at haha
