Default Rained out EF Meet Pictures

Today's meet got rained out, hardly anyone came, good meet non-the-less. For those few of you that came out, thanks for coming out and keeping me company. Anyways, here's some pictures... In reverse of when they were taken.

Default Thanks for posting up the pics

Thanks for posting up the pics....
As I was hydroplaning over Gandy Bridge, I noticed it was raining.

I arrived at Parkside Target about 1005AM.30 minutes later, I made a loop of the parking lot and headed to the interstate. As I crossed the drawbridge to the Fort, fishermen in T-shirts lined the bridge edges. When I drove up to the meet it was not raining.
-----------------------------------------------
Considering that Sweed and Sam were loaded with coolers and sodas and were willing to drive about 2 hourss from Gainesville, and that he organized the meet, it was pretty easy for me to take the short drive that I made, and spend the 85 cents for tolls.

Earlier someone had told me that it was raining in the bay and that I was going to get wet. My reply was that I was going to get wet that night anyway when I took my shower.....
---------------------------------------------
I appreciate the people who showed up and I had a great time. It was interesting to see the metallic wrap that Sweed was working on. I found it interesting to see how the CRX louvres were constructed on Steve's DOHC car. Later on it started raining, but we cooked and ate burgers and dogs anyway.
---------------------------
I especially appreciate that when Seekerone saw on this thread that some people were't able to bring things, he drove up with burgers, buns, charcoal and other stuff. SleeperLX of South Side Customs brought us more hotdogs and buns than we could eat.

There is another meet coming, bigger and better, and you will hear about it on TR.-Bob

It's boosted on a Greddy(?) kit for a D16, running 6psi, owner estimated about 170whp.... I know he said it's intercooled, don't remember if it was FMIC or SMIC though..

that's cool that such a small group still got together and brought so much food and stuff. so many bums have meets with nice cars without a single bag of chips.

Looks like a cool group

yep...she's boosted

Stock DOHC ZC
GReddy EG turbo, manifold, and downpipe
All other piping was sourced from junkyard
intercooled with Starion front intercooler
(it is painted black to hide the fact it is too small to fill the full grill area)
using an old-school OBD0 tuning system called "ZDyne"

Lots of other customizations

Thanks Ben and Sam for putting on the meet and for commiting to a 2.5 hr drive from Gainesville even when you knew rain would reduce the turnout
(I thought there were more hardcore people but oh well)

Thanks Bob for cooking and providing entertainment (As always)

Thanks to SleeperLX and his crew for coming and bringing food.
(If your meet is on a Sunday, I will be there...Saturdays are a maybe due to work)

Can I come next time? Fuck I'll bring food and my camera, its hard to find a nice group to chill and talk to, I useto own a 1st gen CRX, if that counts

Seeker you have two boosted crx's!? 1st and 2nd gen! awesome stuff man! I love both! Sometimes I want to sell my car and buy an old car and just fix it up just right like you do, and daily that car till theres no tomorrow.

Someone hit me up, I'm down for next meet.

Sorry morty...no chance of selling those.
I got them from another friend who took them off his car when he first got it.
said that he "hated those ugly things".
now it seems that everybody is interested in stuff like that.
like roof racks...they used to be something you wouldn't have unless you really needed it and now there are a "styling option"

Go figure, huh?
