Not that I know of. I knew before ordering the camera that the video sucks, it was just a perk to get people to buy it IMO. I mean the video is good in general, you just need to be in controlled light. Otherwise it's not that big of a whoop. Still better to just get a separate video camera.
There's a way to lock exposure by twisting the lens a little like your taking it off but when that happens then you have just manual focus only and your iso is still going to be automatic. I was going to get a t1i just for video only but I'm still probably going to wait hopefully they make a 24p rebel soon. Also the 20fps isn't that great if something is moving the picture just stutters.
