::Photos:: Exotic Car Runway Event - '09
I think these will still give him a run. Unless hes in the 9's which these are. Some of the guys from Titan, their Supras are in the 9's, maybe 8's now; THEY could possibly give them a run. However, top speeds may also vary, not sure who would take that one...
whenever i hear supra vs exotic i always think of this video

best image by far out of the set, that's the only shot you have like that?
Seem's like the other pics need tighter crops or something, I feel kind of disconnected from the event, like every picture was taken from atleast 100ft away

It's because.... they were. Most were taken from a good 200-300 ft away, hence why most of my images were taken at 400mm and cropped. I was only allowed to get so close, for obvious reasons. I was fortunate enough to be one of only three photographers allowed to that area, everyone else was a half mile away. (Literally)I was actually stationed directly next to a team of paramedics and their ambulance. Safety never hurts.
Would you want to be 15 ft away from cars barreling at you at 225+mph? (Ford GT for example) Those suckers can lose traction a lot quicker than I can gain traction with my sneakers to run away.
I didn't want to chance it. There was one section where I was at where I was within 50-75ft of the cars but it was facing directly into the sun so I left there pretty quickly. I was only allowed there because it was the short straight where the cars drove after their runs at a much much much slower pace. (50mph or so)
