Default Photoshop help

ive been really messing around with photoshop cs3 since i got it. I google how to do things and then try them out on some photos from google images. Just practice learning to do things. Didnt know how to phrase the search term to find this. I want to cut off some of the photo at the bottom so there isnt soo much drive way in the picture. how do i do that?

So you want to gradient it? So that the driveway is black? Just want to make sure I know what you're saying.

actually, id like to just get rid of everything below where it says faded, and have the same border down there as the rest of the picture.

All you have to do is crop it

This tool

Start with your original and you can redo the border once you've cropped it down
