Boy where is your sense of adventure?

it would cost TONS of money, and be lots of planning and getting connections with interpreters and access to certain areas/tows/villages. its probably a loooong shot to really get in there like most of those guys did with those pictures but you never know...just get in touch with however many different publications and see what you can do!

why would it cost a ton of money? I went to japan, china, and thailand, for 3 weeks back in '05, a total of 9 plane flights, 19 nights in 4 star hotels(which are about $20-30 a night over there) split 5 ways and it was only $1,600 including lots of sight seeing things that weren't necessary (we planed and saved for a whole year). you could do a much less elaborate trip for under a grand easily. Eating is dirt cheap, taxis are dirt cheap, living is dirt cheap.

Lol. Oh, ok. That sounds good. I want to go. I've never been out of the country, but I'd totally be down for an "excursion". I'm planning on a trip soon, but I'll be ready for a trip in a year or two.
