It's bigger than that. As someone said, that price is for the body ONLY. No battery, no charger, no box, no strap, no manual, no plastic wrapping, no lens caps, no body cap, no hot shot cover and no viewfinder cover. Each and every one of these accessories will cost you more and more. You will be asked to call and confirm your order, and when you do, you'll be hit up for more money for each of these items. If you don't buy the items, at the exorbitant cost, your order will magically be back ordered.

RESEARCH YOUR RETAILERS ON RESELLERRATINGS.COM BEFORE YOU BUY... ALWAYS. It's like the commercials... a few minutes could save you thousands.

I'm picking it a kit with the stock 18-55 and a 75-300m, is the second lens worth $100 more? The bundle altogether will be around $725-750.

Probably at RITZ in the mall.

That seems like a resonable price for the whole kit. The EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 retails for about $125 from different companies on the net (Amazon, B&H) so I guess it is just a question of whether or not you are going to use the lens. It seems to take pretty nice shots for the price...

I thnk that kit you are referring to comes with a cheap quantaray/sigma telephoto. Its an okay lens, Work fine for most things, just nothing special
