It's not necessarily making it bigger, you need to make sure that your DPI is good enough to make it bigger.

I'm saying I edited that pic as an 800xwhatever. I have it unedited on my camera at fullsize so i'll just have to do it over again. Just a normal poster size

 

well that's stinky. Their big thing is that they can supposedly take a 1 mgpx CELLPHONE pic and make it look like a decent poster. Ah well...hopefully the other photo turns out. Let us know how it goes! I wanted to do it...so now YOU are the guinea pig

 

I know on the picture below I screwed up and saved it as an optimized JPEG, which was only about 12MB, and I wanted a 16x20 print...could'nt do it, had to use the full size file...luckily I saved the edited version full size too.

Doesn't really matter what your size is, it's your DPI that they look at when they print.

You could have a 800 x 1200 but the DPI only be 72, so printing poster size will look like shit and pixelated. To go any bigger then an 8 x 10, maybe 11 x 14, you need to have it at least 200 or higher.
