Default cleaning dried buffing compound???

I just did the wetsand/buff on my integra and missed some of the compound in a few hard to reach areas. Bad mistake on my part but it was extremely late and i was tired. I am just wondering if there are any cleaning products or home made remedies that can get some of it out. Thanks in advance guys

3m makes a compound removal spray, just spray it on a rag and rub the rubber with it.Windex or an all purpose cleaner with a detail brush work good too.Post up some pics.

I was un aware that 3m had that, Im not much of a painter/detailer. I got kind of a half ass paint job from someone and have been trying my best to make it look good.

its hard work to make crappy paint work look good, you'll get it,just keep at it,if you need any help just ask,we all learned things hear and there from someone else, and by trial and error.

yea, It looks like they blocked it with 80 or 120 shot primer then base cleared it so you an see the lines under it, Theres trash in the hood that I am finding to be impossible to get out, I understand that the lines caused by not sanding correctly will never come out (to my knowledge) But I am just trying to make the best of it. I wetsanded the entire car w/1500 and then again with 2000, buffed it with a cutting compound then went back over it with a swirl removal/polish compound

I told you that you went to quickly over the car. There is no way you properly sanded the whole car with 1500 and 2000 grit and then managed to get it buffed and run back over it with a second compound. It would take me all day to properly buff your car and I know what I'm doing.

Just bring your compounds by the shop and we will get you sorted out.

A lot of scratches from improper body work can be fix with wetsanding and buffing if you cut it correctly. If you rushed through it,might wanna slow down a bit,use a bit heavier grit and work it back to 2000.it takes me four to five days to property cut and buff a new paint job,but I dry sand with a da.Don't get impatient, listen to guys like importguy,we've done it a million times.

Patience is something I lack, I went back over the car again after you saw it last Aaron, but still obviously didn't take enough time. I greatly appreciate the input from the both of you. Aaron I will be by soon to talk to you.

No problem brother, patience is something you can not skimp on with this type of work,or you will see it in the finished product.
