Looking to get my 95 camaro painted black,its already black and only has about 5 quarter sized dents,those arnt really an issue to me,it just has alot of scratches and stuff that i am more worried about,looking to see who does good paint job work and how much its going to run me,i know you get what you pay for,but i only have between 1000-2000 to spend for right now,door jambs do NOT need to be painted.

go to a place on michigan street in kissimmee called yimmies paint and body shop.
i got my boy hatch painted pearl teal with gold flakes in and out for only 2000.
roll cage,doors,everything

 

IM GOING TO SAY AGAIN WAIT TILL YOU HAVE ATLEAST 2000.00 TO GET IT DONE AND GO TO A REAL PAINTER WITH REAL REFERENCES AND REAL CERTIFICATIONS. Anyone who thinks there going to get a good paint job with good materials for under 2k is out of there mind. Paint and clear alone will run you 450 and up. A15 which is a metalic pearl red(not tricoat) will run you 192.00 a quart in PPG Global line. Sure there is Nason and Omni and so on but the pigments in the colors on the cheaper lines do not hold up at all. At my dealership not including jambs dents or anything just taking moldings mirrors bumpers ect... off sanding and painting will cost you minimum 2500.00. Keep in mind faded chipping paint and dents will cost extra. Also good idea to have quarter glass rear and front windshields removed for best quality. Anybody can spray a car and work at macco or a half ass shop get on here and call themselves a painter. Just keep that in mind. Hell some of them even claim to be the number 1 painters in Fl. which that ranking DOES NOT EXIST!!!!!!!!!!

 

Everyones Idea of a real good paint job varies. Ive heard people say they got a awsome show quality job from MACCO....... IMPOSIABLE!!!!! MYSELF, HELLFIRESTUDIOS,KILLER MIKE D, OLDSCHOOL CAN AND WILL PICK THEM APART. Although oldschool pimps himself out pretty cheap lol.... Im not wasting a weekend for under 1200 in my pocket sorry not going to happen.
