orange peel

Default orange peel

hey guys my friend just painted his car and it has lots of orange peel. the guy that painted the car said he used like 4 or 5 cots of clear, i will like to know if wet sanding and buffing he will be good ??????

Thats a lot of clear at one time. Sand and buff if you know what your doing. If you dont....well, you know.

yea someone professional will wet sand and buff but i just wanna know if the orange peel will be gone

peel is in the base/color....wetsanding won't help

Some of it but clear will peel badly if sprayed wrong.

If you find some one that knows what they are doing then they should be able to fix the mess. I would go ahead and tell you what to do but then I would have like 15 people that think they know what they are talking about that would say I am wrong. Ah...the beauty of TR paint / body forums. I can give you some pointers if you want to PM me.

There are many different ways to fix your problem. Don't get discouraged.

exact same thing happened to my car bought it with that MAKO SPECIAL lol and took it somewhere had it wetsanded and buffed and besides maby around some of the edges u would never be able to tell it was mako the orange peel goes away but be carefull ive see people sand too much and some of the sanding marks have remained visable even after buffing
