i hear you but still i double check all your info and your on point so double bump for oldschool even tho i dont know him lol
thats a right and wrong ? reason being it depends on how thick or thin the painter lays the clear down but on the other hand ur right a good 2-3 layers should be enough.theres a body shop in saftey harbor were my old shop use to be and he uses half a gallon up to a galllon of clear for the show cars he paints, even hondas

haha wow, you know nothing about painting do you?
orange peel is when you are spraying clear on thick and the gun is to close to the surface you are painting.. thus the air coming out of the spray gun makes slight ripples in the clear.
wet sanding and buffing will take everything out, just dont start wet sanding under 1000.. preferably 1500 then work your way up to 2000
