Here is a couple econo jobs that I have done. Working on my brothers hatch, should be painted within the week. Shooting it with PPG base/clear

My sister just got her car painted at maaco in a ocala, it's a cheap car, and who ever did it did a very good job.

it just depends on the painter and what the shop wants to produce... bc most of these econo shops want the car banged out as soon as possible

i believe that, like any other body shop, the quality produced at maaco varies depending on who is in charge of the project. like sneezincd5 said, he does a great job because it's what he does, and his name is on that product, others might no do such a great job. maaco is a business, and i'm sure that if the car came out badly they would fix it. it's worth it imo to go to a maaco, especially this one that ^^^^works at.

I'm surprised you were able to get out the store with that big "SUCKER" sign affixed to your back.

maaco's paint jobs vary..

my friend got her car painted there and it came out decent for 700 bux
7 out of 10 cars painted at maaco's werent taped off properly and got the headlights, taillights and trim pieces painted also..

keep in mind, not every maaco shop is the same so some do good work and some dont really give a damn..

btw, nice paint job up there, notice that all the body pieces were removed, not every shop does that tho..

For SneezinCD5,

I just went to Maaco a few months ago (the one off of hillsborough near sonics) for an estimate on painted stripes. I expected to pay about 400-600 for painted stripes (at least that how much i hear it costs), but the guy quoted me for only $200. Does this sound about right? I expected that for installation on vinyl stripes but they said painted on. I felt it was too good to be true so I never went back. They said they paint the stripes on the mustangs all the time. I have no idea how they do it but they said it comes with lifetime waranty. IDK. Looks like your a great painter. Maybe I will make a trip to Ocala.
