There was quite a few...Let the aircraft stripper set for about 15-20 minutes to really get the clear good and loose. Use a pressure washer to clean the clear and aircraft stripper off, instead of taping them off I used Mothers to coat the lip before painting them, it kept the ovrspray off and made it a lot quicker. To finish them off I used a rag with laquer thinner to remove any unwanted paint. PATIENCE is the key.

Best LS wheels I've seen yet. Good work! Im still curious about the mothers on the lip. What exactly was it you put on and how did you get the paint edge so straight where the lip meets the paint?

How did you apply the paint? Did you use a clearcoat and primer?

I used the mothers before masking off the lip of the wheels, just a trial to see if it helped in keeping overspray off and it worked great, when the overspray got on the area with mothers it wiped off, should have taken pics. The paint edge was pretty easy to get straight, I painted a little too far and then took a rag with a little laquer thinner to get them straight, there is really thin lines on the Mesh's so I could line the rag up in that line to wipe them straight.

Sanded them before painting them, I did not prime them first, used three coats of wheel paint and then three coats of wheel clear.
