Mazda RX7
I love the 3rd gen rx-7's but they are still a little too much $$$ for me right now, that's why I bought myself a 1987 Mazda Rx-7 Turbo II for $1,000.00 with 185,000 miles on it and it runs great!. I'm very happy with my choice

Dam thats some good miles for a boosted Rotary....
I got 107k on mine original miles for an 84 and I have no probems at all..besides a litle leak on oil pan ..and front seal...but what do you expect its a 18 yr old car..and body is good..
I payed $175. for this car at an auction...I got RB intake...RB road race header..to 2. in pipes..free flow DTM style exhast..
FC trailing coils...Holley 600 double pumper..Holley bluefuel pump..
Aluinum pulleys.all emissions off..for what I got in the car its good...but not here I want to be yet...all the work I did my self..so not much money involved...I want to get a couple dyno pulls... (no adjusments) for a before and after my work is done..
Im going Turbo....but not sure to go with a J spec 13b and carb it...or 12A with the bridgeport plans I had....
AAnyways..Im getting Racing Beat street port templates soon..and going to do 2-3 engines..on spare time..

Just some pic of what my RB items are..just so the dumb asses who think its a cheap air filter can think twice..
Me and like 2-4 other local guys are gonan order from RacingBeat soon..just to help with cost of shipping and see if we can get a group deal..
Are you interested?and What would you need?
Im planning on geting my springs...braket for throttle cable..and oil injector nipple for fuel bowls..and other little things, and porting templates.
How about you?

for the guy looking to get an rx7.. granted the 89-91's have more horsepower because they have higher compression rotors, but if your looking to push alot of boost its good to go with the 87-88 turbo II's because you can push more boost and make most of your power that way. all depending on your plans for the car. another good way is 89+ housings with 87-88 low compression rotors if you want to do a rebuild and custom setup.
