ps, Zero - If you wanted to do a turbo setup, I'd suggest against it... LOL... only cause it cost too much damn money to have a reliable setup... But hopefully I'll be good after I get everything done this time around...

 

i had my tib for like 1-2 months now and soon i'll be getting a intake and some mufflers, i don't have much money right now so im not really doing much. and i was wondering where do people gather around here, other then gandy.

Well man, we have meets in orlando, about a year ago we use to have monthly tib meets at Gator Nationials for test & tune at the track in Gainesville... Now there's not much going on as far as tib meets go... I'm sure when I get my car back up and running I'm going to organize more meets... probably Brandenton Motorsports meets for test & tune...

Right now waiting on the new spoiler, new hood, new turbo kit, new caliper for the rear passenger, new power steering tensioner pulley, new power steering belt... lol

well, I have the poer steering stuff, the hood & spoiler are otw, turbo kit is scheduled, and caliper will be here today... lmao... but... when the car is fully up with the turbo is when I'll start being a little more active in organizing meets again.

 

look what i found at newtiburon.com. Info: "This is a quick DIY for fixing the problem with the stock sub...since the factory wired it up out of phase (backwards). This mod gives u better sound and better bass.

you'll find alot on nt.com... I've been a member there since well, a long time... lol, since jan 03 actually.. lol... anyhow...

word of advice for tib owners... NEVER DO YOUR REAR BRAKES... take it to the fking shop... gdamn it I HATE rear disc brakes... but their finally done, one new caliper and a annoyance later...

 

Anyone else having issues with their headlights getting that crappy crackling in the plastic??? Think the warranty will cover that? I took out the orange corners in the front - hopefully they don't notice...

 

They'll notice, it's a pretty common problem... just about everyone that had done clear corners has had the problem... and alot of people who haven't done the cc mod... you could try sticking the orange back in and taking it do the dealership, just make sure not to do a sloppy reseal job... they'll notice...

I'm on my second set of headlights already tbh... paid $75 for 2 stock headlights last time... cc'd em and painted em black...

This is the first time I have ever read about the headlight cracking problem I guess I must be living under a rock and didnt know about this lmao... mine are fine I did them about a yr ago when does this problem start to occur?

I also just changed all of my brake! took me about 2 hours total was kinda a pain but I would rather have to deal with the 2hrs of cusing and bitching then having to pay someone to do such an ez project.. I have learned a little patients puts alot of money in the bank! that is if you have the time lol...

it's kinda random... I did my current lights about a year ago as well, but I can name two tibs off the top of my head in this area that both have the problem...
