Default sr20det: Good cams for drifting/track use?

ive done quite a bit of research about cams, heard many things. looking to upgrade the track car a little more. im just looking for advice on what type of cam to get. 264s? 272s? those are the most common sizes looking at the whole bc head package on frsport and cant decide. any one have any advice? i should list my bottom end is built, turbonetics t3/t4, and a few other goodies. thanks guys

i run a turbonetics t3t04, havent done cams yet but will sooner or later, i was thinking these:
TOMEI Poncam/Procam for SR20DET
or hks 264's

yeah both of those seem to be a good drop in option. just trying to get personal opinions about JWT and tomei's. and HKS is still an option too.

Stock.

Depends on your power goals. People use different turbos depending the way they want their cars to feel so. I would ask a more specific question:
How much power are you hoping to make?

Pon cams are what I would go with.

but I made 310ft lbs of torque on a Tiny 28R and it feels like a rocketship lowend but drops off top end.
When sliding the torque is instantaneous

HKS Step 1's are an excellent choice, Tomei Pon cam drop ins are fancy too...

both increase midrange (average dori RPMs), but you loose a bit if not a lot of top end. shouldn't be a problem, as your tires will already be spinning, the cams will help immensely with initiation.

I'd personally go HKS as I've used those before, and recommend tomei, because well, they're Tomei.

I wouldn't step over 264 or 272's... stick with the drop in style cams, anything larger will increase power, but reduce it where you need it.
