starter relay??? anyone got 1

Default starter relay??? anyone got 1

the little blue box by the battery. im thinking thats whats makin my car hard to start.

brand new starter/battery/fuel pump

when i turn the key, sometimes it wont even turn itll just click like its dead, but if i keep doing it the starter will kick on, its random...
then when it does turn the starter, it will sounds weak as hell, then randomly it will start turning over better, or worse. Just gotta play with it everytime i wanna start my car....everytime i do it people ask if i need help....then itll start lol

im guessing that relay is corroded, seemed pretty common on zilvia.

if you got a known working one, lmk
or if you think its something else

My buddy had problems with his supra, and I believe he actually ran a wire from the battery to the starter with a small gauge wire. Hopefully this helps.

turbo mat=gonna look into the situation more this weekend..

i went to go start the car last night, had same slow cranking problems as usual but it wouldnt start...
i didnt have much gas but it always started even when it was low....i tried starting it for a few minutes, it probably flooded..

i cannot work on it at all not even pop the hood or it will get towed, so i need to get this pos mazda shell outta the garage.

this also happens alot if you relocate your battery into the trunk and use garbage wire

my batterys still under hood...

i have a power draw somewhere, i charged the battery and the starter sounded nice and strong, fired instantly.
im currently using a battery kill switch evertime i turn off the car. since ive been doing this the car starts way easier, i need to check the harness

My battery would be completely shot if my car sat for 3 days w/o being started. My tail lights would flash, ( w/ all of the lights off) like my hazards were on. When I swapped my hatch interior harness over to the coupe, come to find out, one of the wires running from the driver tail light to the fuse box, ( 18" before the fuse box actually) had burnt up...like through the plastic sheathing, causing my tail lights to flicker like hazards. After repairing the wire, my battery is now fine, along w/ the tail lights.

i stopped using the killswitch....i think its just a very minor power draw

i fully charged my battery and the starter sounded amazing, and it only needs one turn of the crank to fire right up.
i let it sit for like 3 days without using the killswitch, and it started slower but still fired up pretty quick...
