S&R or Z fever are going to be the 2 major shops that everyone will recommend.

Welcome to the site, and good luck getting back into the game man!

i didnt want to break the news to them, i figured someone else would. lol. welcome to the forums though man. are you going to set up a car with all hand controls? there was a chaser or soarer(i dont remember what it was exactly) in an old superstreet that was setup for drifting that had all hand controls. it was pretty badass.

Here's what happened:

It’s about 0430, and I just gotten back from a Fungawa damn run, up on route 2. Okinawa, Japan of course. Afterwards, I went through American Village to see if anyone might be around. My friend and I watched a couple argue over who was going to drive, then we left the area where I made this turn near the Jean Shop to go on 58; and out of no-where were a lot of Bosozoku (motorcycle gangs).

One of them was circling the intersection where I was trying to make a turn. Since it did not appear he was going to leave, I waited until I could make the turn safely.

When I made the turn, the cyclist started chasing me with a long pole hitting my car; then several more of these guys started chasing me. I sped up trying to get away, but their lighter vehicles kept up and they kept harassing me.

Me trying not to get hit by them or hitting them, I hit the median, where I was knocked out.

Thx for the shops Waldo, will give them a call.

It was a JZX100 Chaser from Team Weld. The driver is paraplegic so he can use his fingers. His clutch stick had a sensor that would disengage the clutch and re-engage when let go. Then to clutch kick he has another handle next to the e-brake that quickly disengages the clutch. Gas is controled by a second ring on the steering wheel.

I cant use my fingers so I will have to find a way to at least control the gas.

I'm thinking of at least drag racing my car, with a built automatic mission. I'm just curious if any of the Apexi PFCs will work with auto missions.

I'm sure an electronic controlled throttle, throttle body from a newer vehicle could be setup to be twist, lever, just about anything controlled, I believe you could actually use an LSx throttle body for this, and the hardware should easily be available for it to be standalone, as the pedal stuff is commonly used in retrofit applications using LSx engines.

As far as the automatic, while Im not sure if the powerfc may be able to do what you've listed, I do know you can take care of this using a 4L60E and stanalone transmission controller, there are aftermarket standalone TCU's for the 4L60/4L80E transmissions that allow tapshift setups in aftermarket installations, using one of these would allow you pushbutton upshifts/downshifts. You shouldnt have much trouble finding an adapter setup to generally use a TH350/TH400 or powerglide behind virtually any engine you could choose, and the bellhousing flange is the same for the electronic controlled transmissions just the same.

Hopefully this helps with your plans.
