q45 swap?
my LSx references are mostly based on your behavior towards them, everyone else who has one is just like "yeah, put this motor in, it's cool, pretty fast", if they even post about them at all.... you on the other hand just keep spouting about it like it's the ONLY option to go in ANY car, and if anyone disagrees, then they're faggots, fanboys, fails, fuck/re-tards, idiots, broke ass etc etc...

No you moron, you've got me mixed up with someone else, when people want to argue against them, i've got the facts to prove you wrong.
I have generally only brought it up if its someones goal to actually go fast and be reliable, if you're too stupid to have caught on to the list of why, by now, you're a lost cause and it doesnt matter.
Numerous people have received the suggestion of SR, or just leaving their KA alone.
It comes down to power goal, if you're trying to stay under 400 rwhp, SR works just fine, can fit great, if you want to go fast, you arent going to beat the LS1 for $/speed, if you'd like to make a fail attempt at disagreeing, please feel free to make a thread and attempt to prove me wrong.
wait, are we really gonna do this again? because i'm not really feeling it right now... be fighting the GTR all day, and the last thing i want to do is listen/read your bullshit....
i've already said you were right and i was wrong, what more do you want? a pile of sand to kick in my face?

Here austin, since you've got to have it spelled out for you, instead of just being told you are headed in the wrong direction:
Expect about $400-$600 for a used VH engine
here is your spot for mounts etc
Mazworx
Power steering adapter $155
Headers $895
Mounts, trans adapter, driveshaft etc $1550
You'll need a used Z32 transmission at $300-700
Figure in about $500-900 for exhaust after the headers
Fans?
Wiring?
Intake setup $100
Misc hoses $100
Clutch ? $300
Flywheel ?
Got $4000 sitting around ?

tommy your right. however as i have said before i was exploring my options. i appreciate your input. however i would rather build a ka than put an sr in my car. for the 2 to 3 k it would cost me for an sr swap to gain all of 50 hp i can slap a t28 on a freshly rebuilt ka for around 1500 to 2k correct? i do not want an sr and it has nothing to do with wanting to be different. if i wanted to be different i wouldn't drive a 240. i like the idea of easily getting ahold of parts right up the road at advanced discount auto parts. i used to have an sr hatch and i hated my life because of it. lol.
bz thanks for your input man but im not planning on doing an rb swap because as tommy stated im poor and live in a box under a bridge, plus i was planning on doing something easily accessible in the states. which is why i did the " fail boat 4.3 " swap, which is why the vh SOUNDED like a good idea they are in the junk yard almost every day.
I vote KA but I'm a bit biased. haha
