Can't believe people are still arguing over LSx's. They are proven and have more research and R&D work put into them than any other engine series produced. You are not going to make more power for less money with any other platform, arguing this is retarded.

lol I used to be the "v8 hater" untill I got my current job. Being around LSx cars and engines all the time kinda changes your mind. The engines are great. Easy to work on, make good power and tons upon tons of aftermarket support.
Not to mention I will spend just over $1000 on my turbo setup and have a 550+hp 4.8 that will run forever as long as it is well maintained.......and a 6 speed as well.

What are you doing for your setup ? The other night I was checking out compressor maps, looking at how a twin 3076 setup would be in good shape from 7-20 psi easily, something like 450 HP on low boost, and all the way up into the 700s with things turned up.
Then I realized I really dont need a 700 HP daily driver, and fitting all of that with a/c would clutter my engine bay more than I want, and 650 HP on the bottle is close enough.
After talking to a few of the turbo guys on tech I decided that for what I want a T70 (p trim I believe) with .96AR will be perfect. Around 10psi with the z06 cam and ARP rod bolts LS2 intake and punched out LS2 injectors. Going the truck manifold route with Tial 50mm BOV and 44mm WG.

lol its cool, you send them stock LS2 injectors (30 -32lb I think?) and they take the apart and turn them into 60lb for $160. There's a few guy on tech and guys over on the HPtuners site that are using them and havent had any problems yet.

Meh, injectors is not something to be the beta tester on, and a few people using em for a short while just doesnt proove things enough for me IMO, a new set of 63lb siemens injectors is only $360, by the time you get a good set of LS2 injectors (im guessing $100) ? and paying the hacking fee, you are only ~$100 from a new set of quality injectors, do you even really need 60's for your application ? Id bet something more like 42's or 50's would be plenty, and only run $320 for Delphi 42's, or $312 for a set of 48's....
