motor help
i may be able to get a 89 shell 4 free its a single cam 240 and i have a dual cam motor how much work is it to change out a single to a double and what needs to be done 4 it

Yep, the wiring is quite simple but the hoses can be a pain.

You should have no problems, then. Gimme a yell if ya need some advice. 727-856-9245.... The hoses, I was referring to are the water pump and power steering hoses. Just label as you remove adequetely, and it should be a synch. And no, the steering racks are not set-up differently. Good luck. BTW- ask for Sonik.
Oh yeah, if you do not already own a set of electric fans, then I suggest you go to Cofer's and pull a set off of a Stanza ($35). It will not only make the process much easier, but will free up some HP.

yeah because the dohc fan works absolutely perfectly with the sohc fan shroud. ka= ka doofy.
