I have a blacktop sr in a 91 hatch. Blacktop block, redtop head, bc valve springs and retainers, new lifters, stage 2 cams, t25, 8psi, greddy rz not recirculated, 255 walbro, ngk7, sohc mafs, e5 ecu, battery relocated, megan racing fpr, greddy front mount and greddy ebc. Recently it has been idling real rough. Got it to a shop and he said I had leaky o rings. Drove good until I started it the following day. Started fine then leaned out and died. Then my egi relay would buzz when I tuned the ignition off. Got a new one, same thing. Found the wiring to the fans were wrong. Disconnected them and the buzz went away. Also found a crack in one of the coil packs. The other day I took a look at the fpr. Prior to this the fpr would prime to 40 - 45 then drop quick to zero when turning ignition off. Now it primes to 50 something and slowly drops back down but stops at around 10psi and sits there for who knows how long. Started the car and watched the fpr and it sits at 44psi and stays there but a/f gauge shows it leaning out and it dies. Could it be the cas? The fpr itself? Tps voltage is at .45. New cts and new pcv. Also new ecu and mafs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

that's where I'd start.
walboro pumps aren't known for their reliability. and if that pump is doing anything dumb, then it is gonna through everything else off. the pump is gonna draw more voltage as it goes bad, so that didn't help the relay and all that. without a good pump, everything else is just spitballin and hoping for the best.

Awesome, thanks. I guess I'll be testing voltage at the pump. Was thinking of getting a z32 instead of another walbro if it's bad.

How long does it run for? Does it get to temp?
How long does it take to restart? Immediately? After cool down? Or hours and hours
What does it do when you try to restart it?

I must brag, my Walbro has gone 5 years strong throughout 3 different cars.

But at the same time, I've had several friends who have had bad ones right out of the box and some who's had some go bad within several weeks.

Changed the fuel pump with the same result. Changed out the fpr and the gauge isn't reading any pressure.

Did you hook up the lines correctly?

That's what I was wondering but I'm positive I hooked it up the same way I had it before and I was at least getting a reading.
