Hello guys ive just recently purchased a hatch project. The previous owner decided to cut off the roof to do a targa top so I decided ill ride it out and try to make this happen. I had a few questions in mind though, since the hatch is a unibody car I would need to do some reinforcement to the frame etc. What part or if not all of the frame should I weld? if I were to reinforce should I do steel over as a cast or reinforce it with foam in the inside of the frame along with a steel outer reinforcement. I am new to the welding scene so If anyone has experience or knowledge they would like to share I would appreciate it.
