A s13 lsd

You'll also need the axles I think

It's the same ratio, when you go with the j30 you will have a lower ratio making the car have longer gears and make the speedometer incorrect.

Good luck finding a s13 lsd with axles

If any of you know where a s14 lsd with axles is, give it to me

We just told you, j30 is the easiest..... just swap the cover and buy 2 bolts that are about 1/2 inch longer than the stock 240 ones...

changing the rear end doesnt mess up the speedometer, it makes what mph you redline in change. i redline at about 35 mph in first gear i think, 60 in 2nd, 80 in 3rd, not sure on 4th never done it but its around 115 i think. with the 3.92 ratio of a j30 lsd, likely you might redline 2 to 5 mph higher, if that with a taller gear. longer gears better for top end highway racing and cars with forced induction. shorter gears are good for drag cars and auto cross cars, helping the car stay in the powerband and all but a fully custom gear set would be ideal and expensive for that.

in addition to the limited slip portion of the upgrade, you will be able to cruise at 80mph in 5th gear at a few lower rpm. i cruise at 80mph at about 3000 rpm with a 4.08 ratio. with a 3.92, it might be a few mph lower which is better on fuel and not as loud. there is an equation for this but i dont have it on hand at the moment.
