Anywhere here in the Clearwater/Largo area that sells parts for 240 SX's? Im getting an 89 on the 15th.

 

congrats....you will be the 100th person at clearwater high school to buy a 240 this year....

 

The way I see it though, is that it doesnt matter if people have the same type of car, it's what they choose to do with it that matters. I would care less of the whole school owned 240's, as long as I know that mine will beat 98% of them in a race.

 

the thing with you is its just kinda funny how you always say you are getting some sort of car...one week it will be a mustang....next a civic...next a dsm etc etc and now a nissan what makes you get a 240 now anyways?? just curious...not putting you out or anything but majority of the people that ive talked to lately that have bought a 240 have some whack reasons..

Jonas, I did have a Mustang.. and yes, I was looking for a Crx, Civic HB, Or Talon... but I got an awesome deal on this 89 240, and I just wasn't going to turn it down. And I dont know about all the whack reasons people are buying 240's.. I am getting mine because it's an awesome deal, and I know that I can make this car pretty fast, Im already doing part research and price estimates for parts.

 

what exactly are your plan for this 240 that will make it so fast...please let us know...you have an rb26 hiding somewhere or what???

 

Im researching, and Im not 100% sure yet of what im going to do with it... when I find out, ill be happy to post the list. My main concern right now is to get the car home, get insurance and tag, and do a basic tune up to it, then im going to run it in the 1/8 to get a before time on wednesday at sunshine, and then begin working on it. It's wierd.. since ive told everyone im getting the 240, all the other nissan owners are being rude as hell.. why is it not like this with the ford owners?.. the ford owners tried to help me with the mustang.. the nissan crowd has nothing good to say, except the fact that they doubt everything I say.
