Default KA24DE Shims/buckets

Anyone have any good tricks on getting these damn things out. I have a few out, a few will not budge....

If a high power magnet will not even get them out, then thats not..."normal" i guess you would say.

well if ya use a magnet it can magnetize the shim/bucket and small shivers could stick to it causing abnormal were! just sayin....

Large magnet, rotate the magnet as you lift it kind of like you're making fire. If they still won't come out you need to soak the head in parts cleaner to loosen the burnt oil holding them in place.

this.

A good cleaning probably wouldn't hurt if you have having parts stick like that.

Got them. It was a combo of my magnet being weak and the oil creating a little bit of suction...

Stronger magnet solved the problem.
