ok, lets try this again. im pretty sure this a valid fucking thread.
i would like some advice from people with first hand experience with stretching, rolling fenders, achieving "fitment" with their personal cars. i have googled it trust me, i get awesome zilvia threads filled with assdouches saying how gay shit is and whatnot.
im looking to get a moderate stretch on a 17x10.5 wheel, i think the offset is +15, what size would is best? also does anyone here have much experience rolling fenders? cars a s14 btw.

what do you consider "moderate" stretch?
A lot of people would say a 255 tire on a 10.5 inch wide wheel is a moderate stretch.
I personally think that it is a bit more than just "moderate", but I'm really conservative when it comes to stretch.
the black Bmw in this link is supposed to have a 255 wheel on a 10.5 wheel on the rears.

Just give you an idea of what a, generally considered, moderate stretch looks like.
This thread here is full of all kinds of wheel size and tire size combinations. might be worth checking out if you want to figure out the tire size you want

As for rolling your fenders. I have personally used a thick ass steel pipe to roll and even pull my fenders a little bit and it turned out really well. (same as the baseball bat method) BUT, the risk is really high to mess things up. You could end up with some gnarly looking fenders if you aren't careful. I wouldn't recommend even attempting this method if you need more than "just a touch" of pull
You could always rent a fender roller from someone here on TR. I can't remember who off of the top of my head, but someone has one for rent in their signature. The thing about doing it that way, and doing it yourself is it becomes a guess and check type thing. You just have to do a little bit, put the wheel on and see how it fits and do more as needed. Then, repeat the process on the other side attempting to make it look identical. Which, I can tell you, is much harder than it might seem for someone who has never done it before.
The other, and more "safe" option is to hire a tire shop to do it. There are plenty of custom wheel and tire shops around. I'm sure a few phone calls and you'll find one you like.
As for the offset part, I won't lie, I'm not good with it. but there are wheel fitment gurus on this forum.
You might wanna head over to the Fitment and Stance thread and seeing if any of the active posters on there could offer their opinion.
burgy240 is on of those wheel gurus. he might be able to tell you exactly what you want, before you even figure out what you want yourself.
