Default 1995 Altima Swaps?!

A friend of mine has two 95 Altima's and he wants to build one up. What motors can be swapped into the Altima's chassis? Will the fwd SR's fit? If not, would the 2.4 4cyl that's in there be a good candidate for boost? Thanks for any help.

I was told that the Bluebird SSS had a different chassis and that the swap would not work with out making new motor mounts. Also, the Bluebird is AWD, correct? What FWD trannies could bolt to the motor to make the swap easier? Thanks.

you would have to find a diff trans... I belive any of the sentra SER's would work (dont take my word for this)..This swap is very costly and time consumming that is why it is RARELY done. Everyone talks about this swap but very few actually do. There is a Turbo kit for the First gen. altimas from F-max as well. If you dont know yet tell your friend to try Altimas.net, they have many of these questions already answered.- Neal
