KA24de in an Altima, I have the cap and rotor off, i see if you take the screws out for the CAS, it will touch the optical trigger wheel and damage it, is there a screw/bolt inside the end of the shaft that the rotor is attatched to (due to the angle of the engine cannot see)? I need to replace the CAS, and don't want to damage the trigger wheel.
Any help would be appreciated.

found the answer out. you cannot disassemble a fwd ka24de distributor further than the rotor and the plastic cover that protects the optical wheel. no servicable cam angle sensor like on the rwd dohcs.
