I'm about as hardcore of a SR person as anyone, and i agreee they are both good routes.
KA-T advantges: all parts are available in the US, more displacement, already in the car.
disavantages: requires major expensive turbo kit, custom ECU, bigger injectors to do it right, weak pistons and rods from factory.
SR advantages: lighter, very durable factory turbo parts, more performance parts available
disadvantages : good luck wiht water and oil pumps if you have a problem....same goes for a lot of other crucial electronics. install is somewhat more involved than just a turbo kit.
