Craig please take your drama elsewhere. Hey I thought 6 months ago you said you were never going to post on TR.com again? What happened to those blissful days? I wish they would come back.

KA-T advantges: all parts are available in the US, more displacement, already in the car.
disavantages: requires major expensive turbo kit, custom ECU, bigger injectors to do it right, weak pistons and rods from factory.
SR advantages: lighter, very durable factory turbo parts, more performance parts available
disadvantages : good luck wiht water and oil pumps if you have a problem....same goes for a lot of other crucial electronics. install is somewhat more involved than just a turbo kit.

But really I'm afraid that you're going to have the turbo kit that never gets put on...

You might as well go SR then. Otherwise you will wind up spending a lot more in a tranny AND all the stuff for a turbo.

its time to actually back my talk up
Carey I think you are better off with the SR...
Its is more of a drop in a drive setup, unlike the KA I think you who have to deal with more tuning and other little problems. If you do the KA right you wont have problems but I think a SR with a stock turbo would be a little more forgiving.
