Default Excessice SR20DET blow by question

Hey if anyone could help it would be appreciated. My SR20 blacktop is having alot of blow by, to the point where it soaks the breather filter and burns on the manifold. I did a comp test and had 140 on the first 3 cylinders and 150 on cylinder 4. So i dont know why i have this problem.

That little cone shaped breather filter... You know the one purchased from pep boys with the cool ricer mesh that's shooting oil out of it onto the exhaust manifold. Well, it's not supposed to be there.

See if you can figure out what's missing from yours.

HAHAHHAHAHA

for real though, if it's just "soaking" the filter, it's supposed to, your crank case is not supposed to be ventilated like that...

Kevin makes a solid point with that pic.....

marshall, its straight gushing oil out at full boost. trying to find a stock intake pipe so we can route it to there

if it's gushing that much oil, something is wrong....

my first SR'd S14 had a similar problem... i took it on the interstate, boosted 9psi once, and drove it home, small circuit sports catch can was completely full....

tore the motor down, blown ring lands on cyl 3....

if it's spewing that much, DO NOT ROUTE IT BACK INTO THE INTAKE, unless you want to feed your engine a diet of Gasoline, air, and oil....

wouldnt be the ring lands cause compression is bueno. and it isnt gushing, but it will leak out. like after a test run with boost a small puddle of oil is chilling on cyl 1 and 2 of the manifold
