oil pressure question??? need help

Default oil pressure question??? need help

ok i have an sr with a t28 with stainless steel oil lines that have oil restrictor in it...
well when i floor it and i hit full boost (8psi) my oil pressure goes all the way to 100 so i was wondering if it is cause of the oil restrictor?????

Uhh... That's normal. Wait till your car gets up to temperature. Then read it again at redline. My old car used to pull about 80-90psi by redline. Oil is more viscous when it's cold.

what kind of gauge do you have? you could have a faulty sender.

Or it could be that the oil is cold or a super thick weight.. If you're running some shitty gauge that doesn't zero out when the car is off then that's your problem.

its just an auto meter but it does zero out when car is off

it is kinda high but i wouldn't worry about it too much, i run a 110psi oil regulator in my motor and have for ages.
