Q45 5 lug swap
Q45 5 lug swap
I've been reading about it for a looooong time, and everywhere I see people just say you have have to press an s13 bearing into the q45 hub, but you can't put on the snap ring or you have to grind in a groove or whatever. But can't you just use the whole Q45 front spindle and an S14 lower coilover mount? Or is there something I'm missing? I can't imagine the outer tie rods being a different diameter or anything. And I imagine the LCA would be the same size. In all my searching I've never really see this idea come up so I thought it's worth posting
No dummy, the spindles are completely different.
And I havent done any testing with Q45 hubs, everyone that I know of who's done it has used J30 hubs, myself included.

From what I've seen on NICO is that the j30 and q45 hubs are the same. At least they group them together in all the write-ups.
Oh and answer your texts. I need to bring you the sub harness and a friend's cluster.
