I snagged a s13 coupe with ka24e in it from a field and pulled it home and noticed it missing the whole alternator setup (aternator, and mounting brackets). I can get a hold of ka24de alternator and mounting brackets I was just wondering if the de brackets would bolt up on the e?

 

from what I remember, the bracket itself is different. I believe the alternators have minor differences, like the plugs are different shapes. Kinda like the differences between a s13 and a s14 alternator.

Since it is all apart, your best bet would be to source a bracket that will fit, modify it as needed, and install a Quest alternator.
