Default diagnosing A/C trouble

the problem im having is, sometimes the car does not blow any air threw the vents at all. but after playing with the knob from 0-1 it will eventually start blowing air. when it does that i hear the compressure kick on and its blowing cold & im %100 happy.

what could be some issues as why no air blows whatsoever?

Time to get a multimeter and a manual out...check the blower switch first. As for it stopping while the car turns over, thats normal. The car cuts accessory power while cranking the starter.

Blower motor resistor, it's wrapped in tape on the passenger side of the car near where the dash connector plugs into the harness.

I'll look and see if I have one lying around. If I find it you can have it.
