550's

FMIC
full exhaust
hello 300hp

Im just trying to make sure i have everything i need/want before i send off my ECU and spend $350 for a tune. I can imagine being around 260whp with that setup, but i feel like it's gonna be lacking something to make 300whp..

bro, i had DW 550CC injectors, custom GTIR T28, FMIC, full exhaust, and a tubular manifold and i made 260whp @ 7psi... 300 will not be an issue with that set up.

What would be the power difference between an s15 and s14 t28. I know one is journal bearing and the other is ball bearing. Im just trying to keep it as simple as possible and reach my goal.

not much really, the bearing differences are about it, i think the S15 Spec R turbo has a larger comp housing... me? i'd prob just rock a late model Kouki ball bearing T28, it'll get your power goals, and spool super fast.

For 300whp: S15 T28, 550cc (not DW's), Z32 mafs, rom tune (plus what you already have). RS Enthalpy can also tune for a 480cc (s15's) and N60 (maxima) mafs as a cheaper 300whp setup. Stock cams, stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold. Don't waste your money on parts that don't make power.

I've got the z32 maf, and i already picked up an exhaust manifold. So basicaaly if i were to run cams, i would run out of boost before i even really reached my powerband, there for making it pointless to have cams on a T28.. I think i got it. Whats wrong with the DW though? My buddy has been running them on hos SR for 2 years and hasn't had a problem.

DW's are redrilled... i ran a set or two with no issues as well.... ask anyone else and they make your car explode and run off cliffs or into lakes.

step 1 cams are good, i'd run a set so i didn't have to run higher boost to get the power i want, but OEMers will do just fine with a BB T28
