550's and a T28 is all you need to get to 300 with a SR.. cams are great, but unneeded for your power goals...
what will happen, is that 300 will seem a lot more "sluggish" as the step 1 cams (which is what 95% of people need, not 2's or 3's), will move the powerband to mid upper range...
550's
T28
FMIC
full exhaust
hello 300hp

350whp is cool until you melt something.
bro, i had DW 550CC injectors, custom GTIR T28, FMIC, full exhaust, and a tubular manifold and i made 260whp @ 7psi... 300 will not be an issue with that set up.

What would be the power difference between an s15 and s14 t28. I know one is journal bearing and the other is ball bearing. Im just trying to keep it as simple as possible and reach my goal.
For 300whp: S15 T28, 550cc (not DW's), Z32 mafs, rom tune (plus what you already have). RS Enthalpy can also tune for a 480cc (s15's) and N60 (maxima) mafs as a cheaper 300whp setup. Stock cams, stock intake manifold, stock exhaust manifold. Don't waste your money on parts that don't make power.

DW's are redrilled... i ran a set or two with no issues as well.... ask anyone else and they make your car explode and run off cliffs or into lakes.
step 1 cams are good, i'd run a set so i didn't have to run higher boost to get the power i want, but OEMers will do just fine with a BB T28
