Default Power steering lines

Im sure this has been posted before. But i think this situation is a little different. S13 SR20 in a 97 S14. The stock KA high pressure hose lines up perfectly with the power steering pump like they were meant to be (kind of like a 97 ka alt is the exact same as an s13 SR alt lol). But i was missing the banjo bolt. So i ordered one for an S13 SR from Enjuku, (who got it from Nissan). Well the banjo bolt is too big to fit through the high pressure hose, and too small to thread into the pump, so it doesn't work with either way. Maybe i don't have an SR power steering pump? I don't really know. Any ideas?

might not be a s13 sr p/s pump. compare it to a buddy with a KA.

they also might not have ordered the correct bolt. shit happens.

I'm pretty sure that i've just seen people make/tweak/ghetto rig a bracket to use the KA pump..

so I'm not totally sure....

would it be too much of a pain in the ass to take the pump to the dealership and have the part's guy find the right thing for it... there ought to be numbers on it that he "ought" to be able to look up and that "ought" to clear up what it is and what you need for it.

s14 sr and ka power steering pumps are identical. The only difference is the bracket and the pulley. I have personally used a ka pump on my sr.

I might be able to do that. I'll try this weekend.

So whats the problem then? Everything looks like it goes together, other than the holes.

Post a picture, ka and sr banjo bolts are the same thing. But there is so many pumps that will bolt right on, there is no telling.

Figured it out. Didn't have to change any lines. There's 2 banjo bolts, one that goes into the power steering pump (the one i needed) and one that goes from the hose into the metal peice that bolts to the power steering pump (the one i ordered). Everything bolted up nicely. Now just trying to locate a belt tensioner since i didnt notice mine was missing before.

im probably gonna have this issue too. the car i just picked up has a p/s pump that makes noise so its probably gonna need the help of a ka one.

dont mean to thread jack, but to put the ka p/s pump on a s13 sr it will just bolt up?
