Long story short, the wiring harness of my friend's s13 slipped into the clutch fan, and tore it to shreds. Spliced everything back together, nothing. Replaced the enitre harness, nothing. Replaced the accessory relay, nothing. Replaced the ECU, nothing.

Before we spend any more money replacing shit that doesn't need replaced, I wanted to see if anyone could help. What else should we check for?

The car is a dual cam KA, 5 speed.

All the lights work on the car, except the cluster lighting.

Car won't turn over. =[

If you guys need any more info just ask. Your help is greatly appreciated.

 

check relays in fuse box and might as well check fuses too.

 

theres a fuse 75-80 amp im not sure, if its blown your in a sad place, you cant buy them at advanced or carquest, i recommend do as i did and go to the junkyard and pocket those fuses

 

it's my car Petitt is talking about. the fuses don't neccessarily have to be from a s13 do they? would the same fuse from another nissan work...? it would make finding them a ton easier. most fuses aren't car specific..so i'm sure it wouldn't really matter. also, you guys just think it's down to the fuses? the car recognizes that a key is in the ignition. the headlights work, the cluster back lighting still comes on. it's the small warning lights that don't cut on...(check engine, oil, battery, etc..) they should cut on when the key is just turned to on. the radio also gets no power. and of course, it won't even attempt to turn over. thanks in advance for any advice

 

its the alternator fuse..i promise you it is. the the 75amp amp fuse..you can find it in almost all infiniti and nissan junk cars...check it out and let me know

i just checked. the alt. fuse looked fine. i did find that my ignition switch fuse is blown...that's a 30 amp fuse. would that cause the same problem? somehow i missed it. i've looked over my fuses a million times trying to figure out what's up with this car.

 

lol..swap that fuse and turn your car on...so you can get back to driving..

 

Car is running now. It was that 30 amp fuse I believe.
