Maybe not....



It has been like this since i got the car.. but my gas light would still come on and id proceed to get gas. Well now my light refuses to come on. I have searched around and everones gauge is stuck, but not way past the full mark. Could it be wiring, or is it the sending unit?

 

sending unit or your front bumper may be causing a problem

J/K Sending unit most likely. Find the sending unit wire, ground it. Does it change the needle at all? If so, then it's sending unit related. If not, then it's likely the cluster.

 

Ur right, gotta be that front bumper, go halfs on the jdm one with me and ill give it to u ;p

I'm going to put my money on the sending unit, looks like you've got a wire to trace. Better break out the fsm.

 

I never got one a demz. I was hoping id get to see "Kevin always goes into detail going through colors for each wire through the nissan years" in action.

 

(off subject some..) But funny, cause my S14's tach JUST today for the first time started acting funny. On my way to Springhill, it all of a sudden started bouncing around like crazy, and then just pegged to 8k. I put it in neutral, revved the motor, and nothing, it stood at 8k. So I shut the car off, and the needle fell back down to zero r.p.m. As soon as I turned it back on, it shot back to 8k and stood there. It FINALLY on my way back started acting "normal" again. What could that be though? Any thought's?

 

All this kid has been doing since he started posting is talking crap and derailing threads. And he talks like he's 14. Since when did Florida start issuing licenses to 14 year olds? Vote to ban, anyone second?

 

 

my s14 does the same thing.... but it randomly does it
